Welcome to TalkinGlobal!

Import is an activity full of challenges, with many details and barriers ranging from cultural differences to the specific procedures of each country and product. The most experienced in the area have gone through almost everything, until that surprise arrives from the exporter when it comes to empty the container, the Import License that comes into demand, a yellow channel with physical conference... The beginners or other departments of the company may have doubts about some important concepts: who pays for freight and insurance? Can I import a used product? Do I need authorization to ship a product? There are also other areas that directly affect an internationalized company. The dollar firing and the peso devaluing, trade agreements between countries, tax benefits, tax changes.

The interdisciplinarity of international business requires a large number of information and variables that must be carefully considered in every corporate decision. We have decided to disseminate our research and opinions on all these matters.

From a Skype conversation to a napkin, still in 2017 we chose the name and goals of this blog on international trade, a passion we share. A few meetings, countless cups of tea, coffee, beer and Coke later and here we are, ready to share our conversations with the public: TalkinGlobal.
